An absolutely beautiful historic building that carefully balances its historic presence with contemporary shopping. You'll not only enjoy the shops but also be taking pictures along the way as there are many nicely presented spots for photos. Certainly a real gem in the city that is worth the visit if you're in the area. We're really happy we made it.

This stunning large building in the centre of Sydney is an impressive architectural landmark and a wonderful place to walk through and admire. I have visited the QVB many times since it was restored and made into a shopping centre in the 1980s. I'm happy to say that this Federation Romanesque style building just keeps improving with age! A big thanks to the many who saved it from the wrecking ball in the late 1950s and 1960s. Here are some photos from our recent visit. Don't miss the chance to visit this building when in Sydney :-)

Visiting the Queen Victoria Building was truly a wonderful experience. This is not just a shopping centre; it is also a remarkable landmark that reflects Sydney’s rich history and beautiful architecture. The exterior of the building is impressive, but its real beauty becomes apparent once you step inside. The high ceilings, stunning stained-glass windows, historic clocks, and intricate architectural details create a unique atmosphere that feels like a journey back in time. The building is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The shops offer a wide variety of quality products and services, making it an enjoyable destination whether you are shopping, sightseeing, or simply taking photographs. The combination of historic charm and modern retail stores creates a perfect balance that makes the experience even more special. The staff and security personnel were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my visit. The location is very central and easy to access by public transport, making it convenient for both locals and tourists. There are also many cafes, restaurants, and attractions nearby, so it is easy to spend several enjoyable hours in the area. The building becomes even more beautiful in the evening when the lighting highlights its architectural features. It is admirable how well this historic landmark has been preserved while remaining vibrant and relevant today. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience. For anyone who appreciates architecture, history, and shopping, this is an outstanding destination

A beautiful, historic, iconic landmark with numerous modern restaurants and shops. There's something to see on every floor. There are beautiful clocks, an old elevator, and a public piano for anyone to play. The light rail station is right in front of the building. Definitely worth a visit!

The QVB is one of Sydney's most beautiful buildings and a real icon of the city. It has so much character and charm, and I'm glad it was preserved instead of being demolished decades ago. Walking through it always feels special, with its stunning architecture and lively atmosphere. The basement level is especially handy, connecting through to Myer and Pitt Street Mall, making it an easy part of getting around the CBD. There's always a great energy here with plenty of people, shops, and cafés. Whether you're shopping or just passing through, it's well worth a visit.

What an absolutely stunning building! The architecture is just breathtaking, and there's so much to explore. My partner and I had such a lovely time wandering around. It's truly a must-visit spot. The atmosphere is great, and you can easily spend hours here.

My wife and I had a fantastic weekday visit to the Queen Victoria Building, and going on a weekday is definitely the way to go if you want to avoid the crowds! The historic architecture is absolutely stunning from the beautiful stained glass to the grand dome, it feels like stepping back in time. There are plenty of great places for shopping across multiple levels and an excellent variety of options to sit down and have a nice meal. As a wonderful bonus, we stumbled upon a free photo booth on the second floor that day, which gave us a fun little keepsake to remember our trip. QVB might be one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen. The exterior already looks amazing but when you walk inside, it’s so elegant that you can feel it really represents Queen Victoria herself. I love literally everything I saw, such as the fences, stained glass windows, fences, domes, stairs, pillars, arches etc. There are mostly clothing, jewellery, accesories stores, and several pastry cafes on ground and upper levels. The lower ground floors are connected to Town Hall station, The Galeries, and Westfield on the other side. Victoria’s Basement is not just an ultimate kitchenware store but also sells a variety of confectionery, such as pistachio related products, different kinds of Dubai chocolate, biscuits, and sweets at reasonable prices. If I live in Sydney, I would like to visit this place several times a week, explore every cafe and but more dubai chocolates.
